Custom Books

     Retirement communities that place a volume order of 500   books or more may choose to have a customized book cover  with  the  community  name and photos.   Lifeworks Publishing will create these special covers  using a template design and the graphics provided by the community.    Additional interior pages  may  also  be  inserted  in the book  to list the phone numbers  or other specific  information,  such as a site map of the  community.  A  small service fee will apply; and discount pricing is available for custom books, as well as standard books.  By branding the  Elder Organizer  with community  images,  the  book  will   become a  daily  reminder  to  residents about management's genuine concern for their well-being.   An  ideal  time  to  give the  book  to  residents  is upon  purchase  of their homes. During this major change, older adults begin to reorganize their lives and make long-term decisions that are reflected in new legal, financial and medical documents, which the book records in an age-friendly format.   Campuses with   community stores, senior programs,  or  closed  television channels  could also make the book available to all residents year round.
