The Corporations Care About Elders Program
Retirement communities and local senior programs for older adults are invited to participate in this program, if they would like to receive a corporate gift of Elder Organizer books for all their residents or program participants. To register, send an email to jhill@lifeworkspublishing.com, listing the community name, address, phone number, contact person and number of residents in the community.
This information will be placed on the website so that interested corporations and business organizations may select community residences or senior programs to contact about a donation of books. Upon agreement with the elder community, the corporation will place an order with Lifeworks Publishing. Any order placed through this program will receive an additional 10% discount. The books will be shipped directly to the elder community. This program will enable the business community to make a meaningful connection with local elders that might not otherwise exist. The traditional function of corporate responsibility to local communities and non-profit organizations will also be met in a purposeful way.
The program's purpose is to bring attention to the growing population of aging adults in the United States and to endorse the belief that every segment of our society has an important role to play in fostering the well-being of our aging adults. Just as a physician must consider an aging patient in a holistic way, so must diverse members of society make their distinctive contributions, to assure quality of life for our elders, in their residences or senior programs.
Please share the news about this opportunity with elder groups
and businesses you know so that a purposeful connection may be made.
